About me

I am an astrophysicist working as a postdoctoral researcher on galaxy evolution and dynamics through numerical simulations, at the Arcetri Observatory of the University of Florence, Italy.

My current research focuses on galactic winds, particularly those emerging from the center of the Milky Way. I use high-resolution, self-consistent magnetohydrodynamical simulations of our Galaxy that include stellar feedback to study how these outflows form and evolve. I'm particularly interested in understanding whether stellar feedback alone can drive the powerful winds observed at the Galactic center, by comparing my simulations with observational tracers such as high-velocity HI clouds and the eROSITA bubbles.
